Packaging & Vacuum Packaging Knives Offered:

• SMK manufactures Toothed Packaging Knives using only High Performance M2 High Speed Steel & Powdered Metals including Stainless Steel Powdered Metals. SMK does not provide low grade packaging knives.
• SMK Packaging Knives are capable of withstanding higher temperature Wear Coatings used specifically for High-Speed Steels and Powdered Metals.
• Cheaper Low Carbon and Low Carbon Stainless-Steel Packaging Knives cannot withstand the high temperature coatings provided by SMK. These lower grade knives need to use what is called Low Temperature Coatings so that the hardness of the knife is not tempered back which is simply the hardness would be lowered if high temperature coatings were used.
